Artisan Ballet Academy is designed for dancers to develop a strong foundation in ballet while growing technically and artistically. Academy students will attend weekly classes and rehearsals, and have the opportunity to perform in both our annual Nutcracker and Spring Performance.
For level placement, join us for a drop in class over the Summer!
What is a placement class? If your dancer is new to Artisan and would like to join our Ballet Academy, they should attend the placement class. A placement class is a regular ballet class where teachers observe students and help place them in the appropriate level for the 2023-24 Season.

Artisan Ballet Academy is designed for dancers to train at an accelerated pace, while broadening their knowledge of the art form and its history. The Academy aims to create a healthy relationship between the dancer and ballet, while emphasizing a strong work ethic and love of the art form.
ATTENDANCE: All students are expected to attend both classes each week, and their academy rehearsals. Students who miss more than 5 classes before The Nutcracker, or Spring Performance may not be able to participate in the performances.
DRESS CODE: The registration fee ($55) includes 1 academy uniform leotard or fitted shirt. Students are required to wear the following for every class: Class Leotard, Pink tights, optional black ballet skirt, pink ballet shoes or Black tights, white short sleeve shirt, black ballet shoes. Hair must be secured in a neat bun. All hair should be secured off of the face with hair clips, bobby pins, gel or hairspray
EXPECTATIONS FOR STUDENTS: Attend class regularly with minimal absences. Students are not permitted to participate if they are more than 7 minutes late to class. Students will need to observe class if they arrive later than 7 minutes. Students are expected to treat each other and their teachers with kindness and respect. Come to class prepared to work hard
